The clock ticks… Knowledge and attitudes change… Measuring the benefit of this wiki is difficult. Why do I care… It takes time to create content in this wiki.
Because there are a lot of links in this wiki to other web content/pages. One of the fundamental skills needed to solve computer problems is 'Learning how to search for answers on the internet'. Since the internet is a book of world wide knowledge, I think there are fundamental concepts to learning to search for knowledge on the internet. Using the corollary of a book, here is my approach. If the internet were a book it would be really big with lots of volumes. Fortunately there are businesses that will help you find the pages in the internet/book that might have the answers you are seeking. My opinion…. Without the internet search engines (google, duckduckgo, Microsoft, Yahoo) the internet would be a black hole, not a gold mine. Learning how to construct the right question for your preferred search engine or internet site is important. Which lead to me trying this search string… “internet search skill ”. Hmmm…. Looks like the results offer an opportunity to expand my personal experience with learning how to search on the internet.
The number of internet sites that the Computer Club Help Center depends upon for “real solutions” is small.
