Windows 10 Tablet

There are Windows based Tablets that are delivered with 2 gigabytes of memory and 32 gigabytes of storage. A Windows 10 device with 32 gigabytes of storage can become difficult to update. Why? The 32 gigabytes of storage fills up and updates fail. If you choose to update the tablet with a fresh installation of Windows 10, it is possible some features or devices may not function. Why? Microsoft does not appear to be including all the device drivers for these devices in the “default” version of Windows 10.

Nuvision

Nuvision produces tablets that contain 2 gigabytes of memory and 32 gigabytes of storage. As of today, their website does not provide the drivers for their devices. There are links on their support page for downloads, but the links are broken.

This site identifies a possible alternative for acquiring drivers for devices that are not part of Windows 10. The secret sauce for saving special drivers for unique hardware is this Power Shell command: “ Export-WindowsDriver -Online -Destination C:\Drivers ”. Using this command before you install a fresh copy of Windows 10 is necessary.

Nuvision tablets appear to use 64 bit versions of Windows 10. This means the special drivers for Nuvision devices are 64 bit. Installing 32 version of Window 10 on Nuvision is unlikely to allow use of all the builtin devices of the Nuvision computer, because it appears all the drivers I have found are 64 bit implementations.
