My attitude….
As to clients… Listen to the client. If it is a Windows PC… Watch it boot/power up. Start “Task Manager” as soon as possible. Observe what programs are most abusive to CPU and DISK. IF PC does not have an SSD, install/run gsmartcontrol and observe results.
As to new volunteers in the Help Center… Read the Slow Computer page in this wiki. Follow some of the links. Yes, there are a lot of details. Ask questions. Get somebody to help you build a thumb drive that contains Ventoy and their favorite “stuff”.
