 My Macbook pro is circa 2011. The Apple App Store will not allow me download Mac OS 10.15 (Catalina). I did an internet search for "Install Catalina on an older Mac" and ended up here: [[http://dosdude1.com/catalina/|MacOS Catalina Patcher]]. I followed the instructions and now my Macbook is running MacOS 10.15.1. So far it looks fine. I have a copy of MacOS 10.13 installation media if I need to go back.

+December 19, 2023..  I tried [[https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/|OpenCore Legacy Patcher]] .  Now my older mac is running the latest Apple OS, again.
