Because getting more people to contribute to the evolution of this wiki is HARD.

My focus is influenced by my experience with the Open Source software world. That world encourages participation by skilled and unskilled individuals. Participation usually requires written (mostly electronic via email, forums, or bug reporting) communications. Everyone that participates is a Peer. Peer review is expected. Most of the time review is about the content of contribution to a project and not personality.

I jumped into the wiki with assumptions. We can capture “stuff” that is useful and make the useful easier to find. Success will encourage more participation.
